Date: 2014-10-25 03:58 am (UTC)It is written in a peculiar way, however. The specifics of the aftermaths are put in bold, underlined, etc. Someone who can read behind the lines, and who had a very cynical disposition, might believe that they read rather more like instructions rather than predictions.
Luckily, the Man in the Street has only the best interests of Genessia at heart.

Date: 2014-11-02 04:01 pm (UTC)Despite my best efforts, corruption has still remained unnoticed in the hearts and minds of the citizenry. On the plus side, those who would work the most fearsome corruption have been cowed by the efforts of yours truly. Either that, or they've grown more cunning, to the point where even my journalistic prowess is insufficient to find whatever devious scheme they're up to next.
I do not think my future efforts to wake Genessia from its slumber will meet with much success. Not unless the thing I uncover next is especially, stunningly, provokingly proof enough of the corruption all around us. But, as I said, whatever those villains are planning next, I cannot predict it.
You, however, have a different skill set. No doubt, with your wealth and connections, there must be something, some hint of corruption, that you could detect that I could not. Say the word, and I will be there with my camera at the ready.
I'm aware of my impertinence; it is good enough of you to house this living, breathing, walking threat to the powers that be. Normally, I would ask that and no more. But these are dangerous times, and I'm afraid I'll have to use everything I can to keep the people safe.
The Men in the Street will never tire, not while corruption still roams these halls. Please, together we can do so much more.
Sincerely,
John Everyman.
